The special Morpheus bedding by Brinkhaus is intended for people suffering from house dust mite allergy.

These MORPHEUS MATTRESS COVERS are made of a 100% closely woven cotton fabric. The additional mechanical treatment prevents the house dust mite from penetrating at all. The covers can be washed at 95°C so that the house mite and all micro-organisms are killed. The mattress can be completely wrapped up.

What is house dust ?

House dust varies from room to room. House dust consists of hair and skin flakes from humans and animals, textile fibres, bacteria, mould, algae and house dust mites. Any one of these constituents can cause an allergy.

Most people with a house dust allergy are allergic to the droppings of the house dust mite.

Where does the house dust mite live?

The house dust mite feels most at home in a dark, warm and humid environment. The ideal temperatures are between 20°C and 30°C and a humidity of 65-80%.

The bed is the ideal habitat for dust mites. This is why it is so important to treat and clean the sleeping environment as a matter of priority.
