There is often a misunderstanding about 'percale'. Percale refers to the weaving technique and not to the composition of the cotton. Percale can consist of 100% cotton or of a mixture of cotton and polyester. Percale is often used in bed linen, including duvet covers. A sheet or duvet cover can only be called percale when it contains at least 200 counts per inch.
