All articles offered by Slaapcomfort-center are described as completely as possible and in good faith. The offers and prices are valid on the day they are offered on our website and for the period stated in our catalogues and brochures. The prices indicated are inclusive of VAT. The shipping costs may vary according to the article. Please refer to our shipping costs table in the help menu.

All products sold by Slaapcomfort-center can be viewed and purchased via the website https://www.slaapcomfort-center.be or during a visit to the showroom in Heist-op-den-Berg.
All products offered are identified with a reference number that must be quoted during any contact with Slaapcomfort-center.
Slaapcomfort-center cannot be held responsible for (printing) errors that occur in the offers, both in terms of content and prices of the products, which have not yet been updated on the site at the time the customer visited the site with the intention of making a purchase.
If an item or promotional offer is no longer available, the customer will be informed by e-mail or telephone. If the customer has not yet paid, the purchase may be cancelled by the customer without further notice. If the customer has already paid, he can choose between an exchange for another product or a refund.
Slaapcomfort-center cannot be held liable for any damages resulting from the unavailability of a product.

- AGREEMENT BETWEEN BOSMANS SLAAPCOMFORT-CENTER AND THE CUSTOMER AFTER PLACING AN ORDER.
There is a valid agreement between you and Slaapcomfort-center 24 hours after Slaapcomfort-center has received the order on its website or when Slaapcomfort-center receives your filled in and signed order form. Once a trial placement is made, the agreement is also valid.
However, Slaapcomfort-center can decide to subject the validity of the agreement to other conditions, e.g. in case of important orders or prepayments, orders made by minors, when the order form is incomplete or incorrect, or when previous orders were not paid for.
The products of Slaapcomfort-center can be booked by the customers by telephone, by e-mail or directly online via the Slaapcomfort-center site.
After a purchase, the customer receives an e-mail from Slaapcomfort-center with the confirmation of his purchase and an invitation to pay by bank transfer or by credit card.
Bosmans Slaapcomfort-center accepts payments with Visa, Master Card, American Express and by bank transfer.
Slaapcomfort-center can not be held responsible for any delay, damage and/or loss of the documents from the moment that the documents have been delivered to the postal services.
The orders are standard sent by priority mail or by courier service.
The customer and buyer declares to be over 18 years of age.
In case of non-payment of the product you ordered, you will receive a reminder email after 7 days. A maximum of three reminders will be sent. If no payment follows the third reminder, your order will be cancelled.
The sending and preparation of the orders is always done with great care. Should you receive a seriously damaged order, you can exchange it. The exchange takes place after receipt of the original sent article at the offices of Slaapcomfort-center with a copy of the invoice enclosed.
- RIGHT OF RENUNCIATION/WEBTRADER.
The Belgian law of 6 April 2010 on the protection of consumers allows the purchaser to inform the seller of his/her decision to abandon the sale within 14 working days from the date of receipt of the product. If the consumer has gone beyond what is necessary for the verification of the purchase when returning a purchased product, the consumer is liable under Art. XI.51 §2 of the Code of Economic Law, the consumer will be liable for any depreciation in the value of the goods and their packaging.
If you wish to return a product because you have changed your mind, you may do so within 14 days following receipt. We will refund your order within 15 days, whether or not taking into account any loss of value. Upon receipt of the return, Slaapcomfort-center will be able to establish the proof in the state of receipt with a number of photos.
- PAYMENT OF GOODS.
1/ Payment by credit card.
We accept Visa/Eurocard, Master Card and American Express. You can enter your credit card information online. Your card will only be debited at the time of the shipment of the goods. Paying with your credit card on the Slaapcomfort-center site is completely safe.
2/ Payment by check.
You can also pay by sending us a cheque or a bank transfer (before sending the goods) if you live in the Benelux countries, France or Germany. Please make the payment according to the structured communication mentioned on the confirmation e-mail you received from us. As soon as we receive the payment, the goods will be shipped immediately.
3/ Payment by bank transfer.
After registration of your payment of the order, we will immediately ship the ordered goods. In Belgium, the Netherlands and the EU. The goods will be sent either by post or by courier service TAXIPOST.
Payment of goods (in stock) that are delivered to you by our services.
- You place your order with Slaapcomfort-center and receive an order confirmation by e-mail.
- These goods can also be paid for by credit card (online) at the time of ordering, but this is not mandatory.
- You will be contacted shortly to agree on a delivery date. If for some reason your order cannot be carried out, the money paid in advance will of course be refunded immediately.
- If the goods are not yet paid for, they will be paid for on delivery.

The delivery of your product.
The place of delivery is the one you have indicated on your order.
The risk of damage and/or loss is borne solely by Slaapcomfort-center until shipment to the customer.
The delivery time is mentioned on the confirmation note that we always send.
Slaapcomfort-center does its utmost to ensure that you receive your product in accordance with the time stated on our website. However, these delivery times are provided for information only and Slaapcomfort-center cannot be held liable for any delays.
Items that we have in stock are indicated on the site as 'immediately sent'. For non-stocked titles, the expected delivery date is indicated on the site.
The delivery times on our site are indicative. The majority of orders can be handled within the proposed delivery period. Exceptions can never be completely excluded. As soon as we receive an article from your order, we will send it to you. At that moment, Slaapcomfort-center will send you a confirmation of the shipment of your order.
In exceptional cases, it is possible that you will receive your order a little later due to postal delays. Should you still not receive your shipment after some time, please contact your post office.
Orders above 35 Euros are sent by courier. These shipments will be offered twice to the delivery address. If no one is present twice, the customer must collect the shipment himself from the depot of the courier service. The shipment can be offered again by the courier subject to prepayment of an additional shipping charge.
In accordance with our general conditions, Slaapcomfort-center cannot be held liable for any delay, damage and/or loss from the moment of shipment.
The delivered products must be free of defects. Any defects must be immediately notified to the seller by registered mail. Visible defects must be reported upon receipt of the goods. With regard to hidden defects, the law of 1641-1649 B.W. applies: the seller can no longer be held liable for hidden defects after a period of 6 months following delivery.
After receiving the ordered product, you have the right to dissolve the underlying agreement with Bosmans Slaapcomfort-center within 14 days. If you wish to dissolve the sale (*), you must do so in writing (by e-mail, fax or letter). After our approval, you may return the product in question. This should then also no later than the 7th working day after the invoice date in our possession. The payments already made will be refunded to your account within 14 days, except for the shipping costs.
(*) To return the goods, the following conditions must be met:
- The delivered products must be 100% saleable. So the products must not show any traces of use. If the consumer has gone beyond what is necessary to check the purchase when returning a purchased product, the consumer is liable under Art. XI.51 §2 of the Code of Economic Law, the consumer is liable for any reduction in value of the goods and their packaging. Any accompanying forms (guarantee certificates, etc.) must also be returned.
- Bosmans Slaapcomfort-center retains the right to refuse returned products or to refund only a part of the amount if it appears that the conditions referred to above have not been fulfilled.
- Returns are not possible for products that have been custom-made and products purchased during a promotion or sales promotion.
- This return option is only possible for products delivered online and therefore not for the delivery of mattresses, bases etc. by our services. These are subject to our normal sales conditions as stated on the official order form of Bosmans Slaapcomfort-center. The sales conditions as stated on the order form apply to all order forms signed by the customer.
- The return option may not be regarded as a trial or test period.
When a return is received in accordance with the regulations, a full refund will be made.
- DISCLAIMER OF RESPONSIBILITY AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY.

- APPLICABLE LAW AND COMPETENT JURISDICTION.
Belgian law shall always apply. Only the courts of the judicial district of Mechelen have jurisdiction.
Bosmans slaapcomfort is a member of BeCommerce and therefore obliged to adhere to the code of conduct as prescribed.
- PROTECTION OF MINORS.
Minors are not allowed to conclude an internet agreement with Slaapcomfort-center and we advise parents or guardians to monitor the use of the internet by minors.
- PRICE AND PAYMENT.
- All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT 21 %.
- The purchaser is obliged to pay the purchase price within 7 working days after receipt of the goods. The buyer is not authorized to deduct any amount from this purchase price due to a counterclaim made by him.
- If the buyer does not fulfil his payment obligation in time and does not comply with a one-week notice of default, the seller is entitled to regard the purchase agreement as dissolved without legal intervention. In that case the buyer shall be liable for the damage suffered by the seller, including loss of profit, transport costs and costs of notice of default.
- If the seller, in the event of non-performance by the buyer, proceeds to judicial or extrajudicial measures, the costs thereof shall be borne by the buyer. These costs amount to at least 10% of the invoice amount with a minimum of €400.
- With every purchase of a mattress, bed base and bed, the applicable warranty conditions of the purchased brand, such as Auping, Tempur, Beka, Lattoflex etc., apply. On the electrical versions of bed bases, the legal guarantee period of 2 years after purchase applies.
- PROCEDURE IN CASE OF DISPUTES AND DEFAULT OF PAYMENT.
A delivery of the goods with accompanying invoice has to be protested within 7 days after receipt of the goods for 'non approval' and this by means of a registered letter.
In case of dispute and/or non-payment, only the Commercial Court of Mechelen and/or the Justice of the Peace of Heist-op-den-Berg shall be competent. And the goods remain the property of Slaapcomfort-center Bosmans until full payment.

Just as with payments in the physical world, where you can also become a victim of fraud, you have the security of internet payments largely in your own hands.

- SECURE PAYMENT AT BOSMANS SLAAPCOMFORT-CENTER.
Bosmans Sleep-Comfort Center uses the "Secure Sockets Layer" technology to secure e-commerce transactions. All your personal data, including your name, your address and credit card number are encrypted via that secure server software (SSL) to ensure maximum safety.
- CANCELLATION POLICY.
According to the Belgian law on trade practices and consumer protection information, the customer has the right to request a cancellation within 7 days of submitting the order.
The request for cancellation must be made by the customer in writing by e-mail within 7 days of placing the order. This request is accompanied by the following data referring to the order: order date, order number, account number and data of the buyer.
If the order has been paid and sent to the customer in the meantime, the amount paid will be refunded to the customer after receipt of the returned goods.
Refunds are made only to the account number of the person who made the payment, i.e. the buyer.
The refund to the customer is made within 30 days of receipt of payment from the customer.
Refunds of payments made by credit card shall only be made after the amount paid by the customer has been transferred to the account of Bosmans Slaapcomfort-center by Bank Card Company. This can take up to 3 months.
Cancellation and refund of a custom-made product is not possible.

The term "User" refers to any user, whether a natural or legal person, who visits the Site or communicates with the Site in any way.
As such, Bosmans sleep comfort center determines all technical, legal and organizational means and purposes for processing the personal data of Users. Bosmans slaapcomfort center undertakes to take all necessary measures to ensure that the processing of personal data takes place in accordance with the Law of 30 July on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (hereinafter the "Law") and the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter the "Regulation").
Bosmans slaapcomfort center is free to choose any natural or legal person that processes the users' personal data at its request and on its behalf (hereinafter the "Subcontractor"). Where appropriate, Bosmans sleep comfort center undertakes to select a Subcontractor that provides sufficient guarantees regarding technical and organizational security measures for the processing of personal data, in accordance with the Law and the Regulation.
2. Processing of Personal Data
The use of the Site by Users may result in the disclosure of personal data. The processing of this data by Bosmans sleep comfort center, in its capacity as Processor, or by service providers acting in the name and on behalf of Bosmans sleep comfort center, is carried out in accordance with the Law and the Regulation.

6. Retention period of the Users' personal data
In accordance with Article 13(2) of the Regulation and the Law, the Processing Controller shall retain the personal data only for as long as is reasonably necessary to achieve the purposes for which they are processed.

7. Recipients of data and disclosure to third parties
Personal Data can be passed on to employees, collaborators, subcontractors or suppliers of Bosmans sleep comfort center who provide adequate guarantees for the security of the data and who cooperate with Bosmans sleep comfort center in marketing products or providing services. They act under the direct authority of Bosmans sleep comfort center, and are in particular responsible for the collection, processing or outsourcing of this data.

9. Rights of Users

a. Right of access
In accordance with Article 15 of the Regulation, Bosmans slaapcomfort center guarantees the right of the User to access his personal data. The User has the right to access this personal data and the following information:
- the categories of personal data involved;
- the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed, in particular recipients located in third countries or international organizations;
- if possible, the proposed storage period for personal data or, if this is not possible, the criteria by which this period will be determined;
- the existence of automated decision making, including profiling, as referred to in Article 22(1) and (4) of the Regulation, and, at least in such cases, relevant information on the underlying logic, as well as the significance and the expected consequences of such processing for the data subject
The Processing Controller may claim a reasonable fee based on the administrative costs for additional copies requested by the User.
If the User submits this request electronically (e.g. via email address), the data will be provided in electronic form and for general use, unless the User requests otherwise.
The copy of his data will be communicated to the User no later than one month after receipt of the request.
b. Right to rectification
Bosmans slaapcomfort center guarantees the right to rectification and deletion of personal data to the User.
In accordance with Article 16 of the Regulation, incorrect, inaccurate or irrelevant data can be corrected or deleted at any time. The User first makes the necessary changes himself from his user account, unless they cannot be made independently, in which case the request can be addressed to Bosmans slaapcomfort center.
In accordance with Article 19 of the Regulation, the Processor will notify any recipient to whom the personal data has been provided of any rectification of the personal data, unless such rectification proves impossible or requires disproportionate effort. The Processor shall provide the Data Subject with information on these recipients if the Data Subject so requests.
c. Right to erasure
The User shall have the right to obtain the erasure of his/her personal data as soon as possible in the cases listed in Article 17 of the Regulation.
Where the Processing Controller has disclosed the personal data and is obliged to erase it under the previous paragraph, the Processing Controller shall, taking into account available technologies and implementation costs, take reasonable measures, including technical measures, to inform other controllers processing such personal data that the data subject has requested by such controllers to erase the link with such personal data or a copy or reproduction thereof.
The two preceding paragraphs shall not apply to the extent that such processing is necessary:
- for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information;to comply with a legal obligation to process under Union law or the law of the Member State to which the controller is subject, or in order to carry out a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller;
- for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Pursuant to Article 19 of the Regulation, the controller shall notify each recipient to whom the personal data have been disclosed of any deletion of personal data or any restriction on their processing, unless such disclosure proves impossible or involves a disproportionate effort. The controller shall provide the data subject with information on these recipients if the data subject so requests.
d. Right to restrict processing
The User shall have the right to restrict the processing of his/her personal data in the cases listed in Article 19 of the Regulation.
In accordance with Article 19 of the Regulation, the controller shall notify each recipient to whom the personal data has been disclosed of any restriction on the processing carried out, unless such disclosure proves impossible or involves a disproportionate effort. The controller shall provide the data subject with information on these recipients if the data subject so requests.
e. Right to data portability
In accordance with Article 20 of the Regulation, Users have the right to receive from Bosmans Sleepcomfort Center their personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. Users have the right to transfer this data to another data controller without Bosmans slaapcomfort center preventing this in the cases provided for in the Regulation.
If the User exercises his/her right to data portability pursuant to the previous paragraph, he/she has the right to have personal data transferred directly from one processing manager to another, insofar as this is technically possible.
The exercise of the right to data portability does not affect the right to erasure. This right shall not apply to processing necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller.
The right to data portability does not affect the rights and freedoms of third parties.
f. Right of objection and automated individual decision-making
The User has the right to object at any time to the processing of his/her personal data on account of his/her particular situation, including the automation of data by Bosmans Sleepcomfort Center. In accordance with Article 21 of the Regulation, Bosmans sleep comfort center will no longer process personal data unless there are legitimate and compelling grounds for the processing that override the interests and rights and freedoms of the User, or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal rights.
When processing personal data for prospecting purposes, the User shall have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning him/her for such prospecting purposes, including profiling in so far as it relates to such prospecting.
If the data subject objects to the processing for prospection purposes, the personal data will no longer be processed for that purpose.
g. Right of complaint
The User has the right to lodge a complaint regarding the processing of his personal data by Bosmans slaapcomfort center with the Data Protection Authority, competent for the Belgian territory. More information can be found on the website: https://www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be/

10. Limitation of liability of the Controller

Bosmans Sleepcomfort only offers products that it purchases from the original manufacturers and their wholesalers. Our cleaning service is a unique service that anyone who likes to have a clean mattress can order.
WHAT DOES IT DO?
There is surface cleaning. This is a special treatment carried out by us to clean the cover of the mattress and can be done on both sides.
A second option is to have the mattress deep-cleaned. This means that the mattress is fully cleaned. Please note that this is a very professional treatment to obtain a completely clean mattress. All our customers are amazed by the result of this treatment.
There are 2 different possibilities. Either you have a regular mattress (pocket springs, cold foam, latex, ...) or a mattress made with natural materials. This means that wool, horsehair, cashmere, cotton etc. can be used and then it falls under the special service for natural materials. This category of mattresses are those as VI-Spring, Carpe Diem, Kuperus, Somnus....)

"My grandfather Denis Bosmans founded the company in 1941, in the heart of the war. Maybe that's saying a lot because
he designed the furniture at the kitchen table, so to speak."

Family business is growing at the seams.
Rudy proudly talks about the early years of Bosmans Denis & Zn. In 1953 his father Raymond joined the business. His degree in commerce came in handy. The store was deﬁnitely claiming its place in the furniture world and was literally bursting at the seams. 1962 Was a major tipping point. "In that year a large furniture store opened at Liersesteenweg 170 (Heist-op-den-Berg). My father and grandfather successfully ran the pure craft in the workshop. They formed a strong tandem with a clear vision. My mother Jeanne was the person responsible for sales in the store and at the same time the mother of 3 children."
Furniture store Bosmans became a real trendsetter in solid dining rooms and bedrooms. Due to its growing success, Bosmans started its own furniture factory. "As the first in Belgium, my father turned his gaze to Italy and Spain. Initially to import exclusive furniture but also to cooperate. My father and grandfather were responsible for the design, mass production was done by a hundred or so craftsmen in ateliers in Bassano Del Grappa and Pisa. This is where the foundations were laid for La Bella Italia, an old love that never rusts and where close friendships have their origins," smiles Rudy.
Two stores opposite each other
Time for the third generation. The 21-year-old Rudy, who graduated as a furniture designer, joined the business in 1979. Two years later the business expanded with a second store at the current location. In 1991 Rudy took over the business oﬃcially, assisted by his wife Annemie and sister Greta.
"They were not easy years," Rudy tells us.
"With the rise of colonial furniture, interest in handcrafted locally made furniture pieces diminished. I faced the most difficult step in all my career: the discontinuation of the artisan furniture collection. The old store at No. 170 was sold. A tough decision because that offering was precisely the heart of my grandfather's business."
The world between 'sleep well' and 'good morning'
But a Bosmans does not sit by the pack. Starting in 2004, Bosmans profiled itself as an expert in sleep comfort and set up its own website. "We noticed that customers were starting to pay a lot of attention to sleep comfort. A trend to which we fully responded with our qualitative offering. After all, we only offered the best of the best: Tempur, Auping, Beka and Lattoﬂex. In short, once again a formula that caught on. Fortunately, from 2006 onwards we were also able to count on our son Bart."
Bosmans thus reinvented itself as a sleep expert and continued to innovate. In 2015, thorough renovation work on the store resulted in a true metamorphosis. It resulted in an even wider range of A-brands. In this phase, we also integrated the largest Auping store in Belgium into our store. So the baseline 'All brands under one roof' does not come out of the blue. Since then even the exclusive Hästens is displayed in the window. "I consider this makeover to be to my credit," Rudy explains proudly. "It only took six weeks, partly thanks to the support of craftsman Sam Schoovaerts."
In 2018, Bosmans expanded both physically and virtually. A warehouse space of some 1,000 m² was added in the Industriepark. And also in the largest online warehouse, namely bol.com Bosmans conquered a place with its collection of bed textiles. This online experience is something we want to capitalize on intensively. "But," Rudy emphasizes, "a bed is something you have to feel and see with all your senses, and then you need an expert to guide you in your choice. I am then glad that I can count on the expertise of Elke and Bart and all my other employees for this."

Being one step ahead of the trends
Whether he has any advice for the next generation? "That standing still is going backwards. That you should always look for the latest trends within the sleep sector. And that you have to be one step ahead of those trends. If you have that down pat, then you are a real Bosmans", Rudy laughs.
Finally Rudy would like to add: "We owe the trust of customers and suppliers in the first place to our professional and committed team. Without them there would be no Bosmans. And therefore a big compliment and a heartfelt grand merci to our team of past and present. They certainly deserve a mention here as well.

What is the feeling scale
The feel scale is a rating that we have developed for all of our mattresses and is a feeling on the surface. comfort and firmness. It can be useful to give you an idea of how it will feel, but it is only a guide for comparing firmness and is purely informative.
The hardness rating shown can range from a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 20; from very soft to very hard. This is completely independent of the comfort display. The mentioned figure is an average of 4 test persons : 45 kg - 60 kg - 70 kg - 85 kg. It goes without saying that the weight is a decisive factor which will lead to an increase in the firmness of the mattress in relation to the weight.
The comfort scale is a representation that takes into account factors such as the materials used and their durability. For example, it is only logical that a mattress made from the better natural materials will score higher than a simple pocket spring mattress topped with HR foam.
It is the combination of both that allows us to determine the correct scale both in terms of class and feel.
This comfort quotation can have as a minimum 1 star (*) to a maximum of 6 luxury (****** luxury).

Can I return a received product?
You have the right to cancel the sales contract within 14 days of receiving your order. This clause applies to packages that we send by courier. Excluded from this procedure are orders for mattresses and/or beds due to production that begins after the order was placed. However, the exchange guarantee within a fixed period (usually 30 days) that many brands apply is still applicable.
Please follow this mandatory procedure when returning your product:

The article must be undamaged and in an uncontaminated condition in its original packaging to us. So no tape and/or sticker on the original goods or goods packaging! Right of retraction
