M line pillow suitable for side sleepers
Do you sometimes struggle to find the pillow that suits you best? Every person is different and every person also has different sleeping habits. A 'one size fits all' pillow has yet to be invented!
There are people who like a thick pillow and there are those who prefer a thin pillow. Not to mention the 3 type of sleepers. Side sleepers, back sleepers, and stomach sleepers. The last type is not recommended though.
To determine the perfect pillow, one must consider body measurements in addition to the mattress and sleeping position.
One can only speak of a comfortable pillow when it provides good support and when it follows the contours of the neck. Pillows "Pillow You" from M line meet these requirements. These pillows are available in different heights and widths.
PILLOW YOU ORANGE from M line is a pillow for side sleepers with a shoulder width between 39 and 43 cm. Due to its high position, the pillow supports the neck best in this sleeping position. The pillow has a hardness softness/medium and is 11 cm thick.
The cover can be removed and washed at 30°C.
But how do you determine the pillow that suits you best?
1) Prominent sleeping position: your sleeping position determines what support the pillow should provide on your head and neck.
2) Mattress comfort: the firmness of the mattress is important for the height and supportiveness of the pillow. If you sleep on a soft mattress, your head will sink more than on a hard mattress. Therefore, in the first case, you need a less thick pillow for good support.
3) Shoulder width: to determine the correct size of the pillow, it is important to measure the shoulder width. Stand up straight while measuring and let your arms hang relaxed beside your body. At the shoulder width, measure the distance between the shoulders including the bulge of the back. The measuring tape should not be pulled tight.
4) Distance between head and wall: to determine the correct height of the pillow when lying on your back, it is important to measure how the head connects to the spine. Therefore, stand with your back against the wall with your head in a natural position. Then measure the shortest distance between the back of your head and the wall.
