Snurk: from cardboard to cotton
The story begins in 2007 in Amsterdam, when designers Peggy van Neer and Erik van Loo decided to create a duvet cover to raise awareness about homelessness, both literally and figuratively. The original design, called "Le- Clochart ," featured a photo print of a cardboard box on bed linen. A portion of the proceeds was donated to a charity that supports the homeless. What initially began as a creative and socially engaged project quickly evolved into a much larger undertaking.
